Cooked This — Bringing It Back to the Table

Made someone else's cook from The Potluck? "I Cooked This" is how you bring your results back to the table — and it's the reciprocity the whole Potluck runs on.

How It Works

After you cook someone's shared recipe, open the cook's page and tap "I Cooked This." You'll add:

A rating — How did it turn out? Your rating rolls into the cook's community score.

A photo of your plate — Show your results. A photo of your actual plate beats a perfect stock image every time.

An optional note — What you changed, what you'd do differently, how it went.

What Happens to Your Submission

Your plate photo is automatically screened before it goes public, and submissions may be reviewed before they appear in the cook's gallery. Once live, your plate shows up on the cook's page with your chef name — proof the recipe works, and encouragement for the pitmaster who shared it.

Why It Matters

Ratings and plate photos are how good cooks rise at The Potluck. They tell the community which recipes actually deliver, and they tell the chef their work is getting made in real backyards. Be generous and honest — that's the whole game.
